The Under One Roof proct is a charity that aims to provide a Community Resource centre for the town of Hucknall in Nottinghamshire. We plan to provide user space for local voluntary sector groups and provide them with a permanent home centrally located to the town.

Our Vision-

The Under One Roof Project - A community resource centre – a true “One Stop Shop” for community and voluntary organisations - which will provide a range of services and activities to enhance the quality of life for the residents of Hucknall and the District of Ashfield.

This major new project that will provide training, childcare, advice, guidance, counselling, job information, healthy lifestyle support services and others to meet a range of social, welfare and community needs.

Programmes and Activities-

We provide user space for local voluntary groups including the Hucknall Volunteer Bureau, The Furniture Project, Hucknall Nightstop.
Hucknall Volunteer Burea recruit and place volunteers in the local area, proivide a car scheme to help the elderly and disabled to travel locally, and also provide a Print scheme which offers low cost printing to voluntary groups.
Hucknall Nightstop provide advice and temporary accomodation for the homeless by placing them with local volunteers for one to three nights.
The Furniture Project collects and distrubutes furniture to the disadvantaged community.
Under One Roof run regular fundraising activities with a team of ten volunteers who create arts and crafts for sale and help out at a variety of events
